Every year for the past thirteen years the Natural Resources Department of the Town of Barnstable Marine and Environmental Affairs Division has sponsored School Vacation Clamming Classes for Kids. Invariably a number of parents are exposed to the joys of shellfishing for the first time also. BARS volunteers have helped the town introduce shellfishing to many children with their assistance in this event.
Barnstable’s Natural Resources Program offers three FREE shellfishing classes for young people in at Bridge Street Landing in Osterville.
SATURDAY JUNE 25th @ 10:00AM at Bridge St. Landing, Osterville
SUNDAY JUNE 26th @ 11:00AM at Bridge St. Landing, Osterville
WEDNESDAY JUNE 29th @ 1:30PM at Bridge St. Landing, Osterville
