BARS Donates Hams to 50 Families in Need on Cape Cod

BARS Helps Needy of Our Community with Donation to the Council of Churches Hands of Hope
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Barnstable, Massachusetts, March 21, 2016 — The Barnstable Association for Recreational Shellfishing, Inc, a leading non-profit protector of shellfish habitat and the environment is giving back to the community with a donation of fifty (50) hams for the Easter holiday to the Council of Churches Hands of Hope for distribution to families in need in Harwich.
“I can only imagine how our Hands of Hope clients will respond…” said Edye Nesmith of Hands of Hope.
Norman Wilson, BARS President, stated that “he is proud our organization in some small way can brighten the holidays for some families.”
BARS is a Massachusetts Charitable corporation dedicated to the preservation, protection and propagation of shellfish in Barnstable County.
