BARS February 2015 Meeting

The next meeting of BARS will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd.  The meeting will be held at its regular location at 7:00 PM. The meetings are held in The Community building, Located on Route 149 near 6A West Barnstable across from the library.

Our speaker for the meeting will be Josh Reitsma. Josh received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Unity College in Maine and later a master’s degree in aquaculture and fisheries from the University of RI. He has worked with restoration and aquaculture of finfish and shellfish from Maine to Alaska, including the management of a small farm in Virginia. Since 2009, he has worked as Marine Program Specialist with the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension and Woods Hole Sea Grant in support of fisheries and aquaculture here in Massachusetts. Mr. Reitsma will be speaking about the Woods Hole Sea Grant programs.
