Three Bays Stormwater Management Update
Presented by April Wobst, Restoration Ecologist, Association to Preserve Cape Cod
BARS’ February 2019 meeting will be on February 5th at the West Barnstable Community Center at 7:00 pm.
April Wobst manages APCC’s Restoration Coordination Center working with towns and communities on planning and implementation of restoration projects. The Three Bays Stormwater Project is being completed in partnership with the Town of Barnstable Department of Public Works, Barnstable Clean Water Coalition, Barnstable Land Trust, and Horsley Witten Group. This presentation will provide an overview of the project goals and talk specifically about progress made on construction of new stormwater treatment systems at Cordwood Landing and Prince Cove Marina.
April has over 10 years of experience in environmental protection, including project management, long-term ecological monitoring, restoration, and invasive species management. She has particular expertise and training in adaptive management and project planning. B.S. in Biology and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
