Our featured speaker at BARS’ August 4th meeting at the West Barnstable Community Building is Tom Cambareri who will be doing a presentation on the effects of ocean acidification on clams and oysters and the Cape Cod aquifer.
BARS April 2015 meeting at the West Barnstable Community Building features speakers from the Barnstable Marine Environmental Department providing updates on their projects relating to shellfishing and the shellfish habitat.
BARS speaker for the February 3rd meeting will be Josh Reitsma. Since 2009, he has worked as Marine Program Specialist with the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension and Woods Hole Sea Grant in support of fisheries and aquaculture in Massachusetts.
